Golders Hill Heath Centre remains open from 9am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and we provide out of hours emergency help to our registered patients.

We can now offer the new Spike protein antibody test which demonstrates protection after vaccination as well as the older Abbott test showing antibody after infection.

We continue to offer COVID PCR kits for assessment of symptoms or for travel with Fit to Fly certificates.

We have sufficient PPE to see patients by appointment in a COVID secure environment. Unfortunately, other health issues will continue and the first lockdown showed a significant drop in referrals in the UK, especially with regards to cancer referrals. Please do not delay contacting us if you have concerns.

We follow strict safety guidelines at the surgery so you will be asked simple questions to check if you have any symptoms of contagious illness or COVID as this can be managed best by phone or video consultation. Masks need to be worn inside the building and we have spare masks if needed.

The COVID vaccination programme is being controlled by the NHS and at present none of our suppliers can obtain doses. If this changes in the future we will be in contact.

Patients should register with their nearest NHS practice to access vaccination when their priority group is called. NHS numbers (until recently) are the same number as your UK birth certificate but anyone resident in the UK can apply to join a local NHS GP practice .
